Rihanna To Perform At 2011 NBA All Star Game & Announces LOUD North American Tour

Off the success of her now platinum selling album LOUD, Rihanna will be performing at halftime of the 2011 NBA All Star Game in Los Angeles, California on Sunday, February 20th. Other performers that will be a part of All Star Weekend, which begins on Friday, February 18th include Keri Hilson, Bruno Mars, Josh Groban, Melanie Fiona and Cali Swag District. Meanwhile, following up her 45-date European tour you can catch RiRi on the North American leg of her LOUD tour. The first seven dates have been announced (more dates to be announced soon) for the summer tour which begins in June, with tickets going on sale Valentine’s Day at LiveNation & Ticketmaster, check them out below.

Music Monday: Do Re Mi

My entry for this week's Music Monday is a song from the movie The Sound of Music. I loved to watch the movie when I was still young (I'm still young now! It's the movie that has grown old, LOL!) so when I saw this clip at You Tube, I really checked it out.

While watching it, I noticed Baby G looking at the computer. It looked like she also enjoyed watching the video and listening to the children sing. That's the reason why I'm posting this video for the Music Monday.

These precious guitar lessons were culled from You Tube and were uploaded by Danfie two years ago. I could say they are classics for every guitarist wannabe's. The lessons are divided into four videos and it's always good to start from the first video especially if you're a guitar newbie.

Music Mondays: Way Back Into Love

I'm joining Music Mondays for the first time and what better way to join than to feature a song that started it all for George and I.



I really love this song from Way Back Into Love! It's like every lyrics was written with George and me in mind. I think this song made it easier for me to accept that I am in love with this very sweet guy who seemed too good to be true. And yes, he turned out to be the Mr. Right Guy for me.
