A fashion designer is suing Ms. Courtney Love, the wacky Hole front woman, for defamation , according to The Hollywood Reporter.On March 17, 2009, Love twittered a barrage of insults aimed at one Dawn Simorangkir, a Texas fashion designer who was said to be chasing down Love for monies owed on several items from her clothing line. Love’s tweets claimed, among other things, that Simorangkir was a drug-dealing prostitute. That particular comment was automatically picked up by 40,000 people through the social networking platform, and they in turn passed them on to others.
I doubt Courtney Love is losing any sleep over this lawsuit!
